The deposed board of Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment Inc. (TRLEI), which operates Okada Manila, has petitioned the Securities and Exchange Commission to disregard filing requests from the Kazuo Okada faction.

The board—backed by parent companies Tiger Resorts Asia Ltd. and Universal Entertainment Corp.—notified the SEC about 'an attempt from the illegitimate board to file a GIS electronically.' The group sought to prevent the Okada-led camp from updating the company's general information sheet to reflect what they characterize as an 'invalid' board election.
