The Marcos Jr. administration should implement a 'whole nation approach' to strengthen the Philippines' air and sea freight sectors, according to Manolito Manalo, a lawyer at Ocampo and Manalo Law Firm.

During an interview marking the firm's 25th anniversary, Manalo projected significant business expansion opportunities in aviation and engineering under the current administration. He emphasized that preparing the industry for anticipated growth requires coordinated national efforts, particularly regarding infrastructure development.

A key concern highlighted was airport capacity, with Manalo noting the necessity to establish additional facilities beyond the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila to support the projected surge in air freight activity.
